Time with the Tudor Black Bay GMT
I’m super excited to review the Tudor Black Bay GMT, especially as 10to2 has leant me the watch itself to explore and admire in detail.

I’m a great fan of 41mm and 42mm watches. Maybe it’s down to my larger than average size, but 39mm and 40mm watches just look too small on me. This 41mm steel cased luxury watch from Tudor really packs a punch, with 22mm lugs and a heavyweight thickness of 14.6mm – you instantly feel the weight of presence and quality from this Tudor. The steel case is complemented by the rivet steel bracelet which also feels weighty, robust and quality manufacturing. The polished and satin finish on the bracelet, with folding clasp and safety catch look great and function perfectly. It clicks into place with the surety of a VW Golf door!
The crisp white opaline dial of this luxury men’s watch from Tudor is stunning and is perfectly complimented by the 50:50 blue and red bidirectional bezel and the striking red GMT hand. As a keen traveller I’ve really got into GMT functionality on luxury men’s watches and this model, powered by Tudor’s MT5652 manufacture calibre movement, does the job perfectly. Add to this a decent power reserve of 70 hours and 200m of water resistance and you’ve got a great every-day sports watch.
Tudor have set the price point very sensibly at £3,870 and as with all Tudor watches the Tudor Black Bay GMT Pepsi is supported by Tudor’s five year guarantee. I actually think this watch is a really good match for most mid-high end luxury men’s GMT watches and sits well as a great alternative to the TAG Aquaracer Pro 300 GMT or even the Rolex Explorer II. It’s got a really cool looking, high quality GMT luxury men’s watch and a perfect everyday watch, complementing both a blazer & chinos or shorts and t-shirt. I’d love to win one!
