
January has a habit of creeping up on us. The decorations come down, we’re back to work and the weather is on the tad cold side! Suddenly the optimism of a new year can feel a bit thin on the ground. It’s no secret that this time of year can be tough on mental health, and for many people, it’s when things quietly feel at their hardest.
This January, we wanted to do something positive in this testing time – introducing Through the January Blues, a month-long charity competition series in support of CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
Running throughout January, the initiative brings together four weekly competitions, with 100 percent of all proceeds donated directly to CALM. With 10to2 covering all processing and platform fees, every pound of every ticket entered goes straight towards funding life-saving mental health support at a time when it’s needed most.
Four weeks, four prizes, one vital cause
Through the January Blues is a series of four weekly charity competitions, with a new prize launching every Monday throughout January, kicking off on the 5th January, ending on the 31st January.
Week one:
Week one offered the chance to win an Omega x Swatch MoonSwatch Mission on Earth Lava, one of the most talked-about and popular watch collaborations of recent years. It’s a piece that has brought huge numbers of people into the hobby and continues to be a genuine crowd-pleaser.
Week two:
Week two was for the collectable 50th Anniversary Casio Ring Watch. Released to celebrate five decades of innovation, it shrinks the brand’s iconic digital watch down to a wearable ring – retaining all the functionality you’d expect such as a digital display, LED illumination, and stopwatch functionality.
Week three:
For week three, the prize on offer was an Apple Watch SE (3rd generation). It featured a 40mm aluminium case and included a range of everyday health, fitness, and connectivity functions, built-in GPS, 50m water resistance, and a battery life of up to 18 hours made it suitable for both workouts and day-to-day use.
Week four:
For week four, the prize up for grabs was the Omega x Swatch Mission to Neptune MoonSwatch. Part of the wider MoonSwatch collection, this model draws inspiration from the deep blue tones of Neptune and stands out for its bold navy colourway. It features a bioceramic case, and familiar Speedmaster-inspired design elements, including the tachymeter bezel and sub-dial layout.
Building on a year of impact
Since launching in November 2024, 10to2 has made mental health support a core part of its mission. Over the past 12 months alone, the 10to2 Community has already raised £2,200 for CALM, and Through the January Blues has been introduced to build on that momentum, and continue to raise much needed awareness during a particularly challenging time of year.
How to get involved
This competition series has now come to an end, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part and supported it. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the 10to2 community, £1,115 has been raised to support CALM and the vital work they do.
Although this chapter has wrapped up, it’s definitely not the end. Keep your eyes peeled – we’ll be running more CALM competitions in the future, and we’d love to have you involved again.
